The Alchemist of Renewal

When one turns one's attention to Uranus, currently in Gemini, Aquarius and Saturn inevitably make their appearance. It is impossible to approach one without approaching the others.

Here is the chart of a very Uranian person.

With her Grand Cross involving Ceres, Neptune and the Nodes, respectively in Taurus, Scorpio and on the Leo/Aquarius axis, this Aquarius, although she possesses the usual characteristics of Aquarius ("you are not going to knit it backwards on me, please"), is also strongly impacted by this Grand Cross which seems to have conditioned her life. It is a permanent "struggle" to integrate her imperative Leo side, with a Uranus receiving very few aspects but which is in mutual reception with the Sun in Aquarius.

This mutual reception (the Sun is ruler of the Ascendant and Uranus ruler of Aquarius; each finds its place in the sign of the other) further accentuates the necessity of undertaking the initiatory path of the Nodes.

Let us remember that the South Node represents the acquired qualities, skills and modes of functioning that are already mastered and that we are called upon to consciously integrate in order to extract their most fruitful essence. The North Node, for its part, indicates the direction of growth, the horizon toward which we are moving, and the qualities we seek to develop throughout our lives.

A North Node in Leo on the Ascendant speaks of recovering one's integrity; the South Node in Aquarius speaks of finding HER place within the community.

This has manifested itself from the very beginning of her life. The eldest of the siblings and the only daughter, her needs come after those of others. She was "doomed" to be the "to be the sucker," at the service of those around her.

And it is precisely here that we find the dynamic of her CERES opposed to NEPTUNE. Nourishing others is not necessarily the spiritual aspiration that her Neptune brings.

Neptune finds its expression in the Moon in Pisces on the extreme cusp of the 7th house, and once again this leads her to take care of others without asking herself whether it nourishes her.

Yet, as the journey unfolds, Saturn, co-ruler with Uranus of Aquarius, proves to be a strong ally in the process of integrating the Nodes, Ceres and Neptune. Gradually, along the way, she begins to distinguish false friends from true friends. She inspires those around her to assume their respective responsibilities and not place everything upon her shoulders.

It took until her second Saturn return before she "gathered the scattered pieces" of her life and turned toward educational support for young people experiencing difficulties.

She has many strengths for carrying out this task successfully.

  • She intrinsically understands the exclusion that learning difficulties can generate. This leads her not to be fooled by the escape routes that young people may put in place in order not to confront their difficulties. She sets their framework, demands respect and earns theirs in return.
  • She savours every moment spent teaching. At her age, she is reliving her own educational journey: "They learn different things from what we learned back then," which beautifully colours this very Uranian curiosity for the new and the unprecedented.
  • She can integrate herself into an environment where her sense of observation is appreciated and valued. At last, she integrates her South Node in its full dimension.

And gradually, the confinement symbolised by the Grand Cross resolves itself.

In her 2026 Solar Return, Pluto activates her Saturn/Mars conjunction by transit and carries out its work of purification. The transit is less than one degree from her Saturn/Mars conjunction and has reached its climax.

The activation of her Saturn in Aquarius in conjunction with Mars manifests itself through the passing of the Grim Reaper and through an enormous task of separating the wheat from the chaff.

She now fully embraces her spiritual path, which takes on its own unique form for her, and also accepts that it is not understood by all of her friends.

I have already noticed that Saturn can indicate a separation, just as it can indicate the most solid relationships.

Saturn in Aquarius may perhaps bring this dimension, of which little is spoken: separating in order to better understand and learn.

A Saturn in Aquarius is therefore very different from a Saturn in Capricorn. In Aquarius, Saturn becomes an alchemist who analyses the different substances in order to transform lead into gold.

And it is at this moment that Saturn and Uranus cooperate.

One must analyse and observe in order to renew...
