Spring The sun enters Aries

Chart of my father

First Observation: At the dawn of this spring, a celestial body shines with a particular brightness. The sun rises on an intriguing stellium in Aries and Pisces, a configuration that offers many interpretations. However, one major element tightens my mind: the presence of planets, from Chiron to Vesta, that question our relationship to creativity and community.

During a recent astrological conference, the speakers highlighted the multiple dimensions of this spring sun, which promises to influence the months to come. Between the eruption of advanced technology (Uranus, propelled toward Gemini) and the dynamism of Jupiter, ready to enter Leo, questions emerged around themes of initiation and war. But within me, a thought was forming, tinged with personal memory: I was thinking of my father, a true Aries at heart, with his indomitable energy and collective creativity, often forgotten in the shadow of Aries.

In our modest village of 500 souls, he orchestrated the creation of a choir, a carnival, and a theatre troupe, showcasing his ability to inspire and unite people around common aspirations. This remarkably fertile trait resonates with a path that Neptune in Aries highlights even today.

The Impact of His Natal Chart : What astrological theme could endow my father with such a power of influence over his community? His Sun in Aries, combined with Vesta, evokes a vibrant inner fire of inspiration. This fire, he taught me to share passionately: "Who loves me, follows me," but, alas, this was not always the case. Sometimes, an Aries can feel an inevitable direction without managing to communicate it, moving alone in his convictions.

His natal chart articulated like a basket of fruits and vegetables, with handles formed by the Moon and the South Node, attentive to others and nourished by a 5th House rich in energies. This 5th House, beginning in Capricorn but undeniably influenced by Aquarius, reveals creativity put to the service of the community. The perfection of his Sun in an exact sextile to his Midheaven, coupled with a Saturn in the 9th House, testifies to independent social reflection, questioning existing structures, especially since Saturn is in Gemini. My father was a living curiosity: the radio played continuously, annotated by him with debates, analyses, and passionate discussions.

Mars in Cancer in the 10th House, Square to the Sun and in a conjunction of 5° applying to Neptune: Added to this is the significant presence of Mars in Cancer, located in the 10th House, square to the Sun. This Mars, at 0°15' of the square to the Sun, innovates on the importance of family, but also of the extended family — the village. This Martian energy, while tense, opens the door to the family world, which for him was the springboard to the universe at large. He took delight in organizing “one-man shows” during the carnival, where he transcribed his viewpoint on the rainbows of social events, taking on the roles of angel, "black", or thief, to name just a few. Certainly, these bold performances were not always appreciated at their true value by an audience made up of farmers and miners.

The Weight of Pluto: In the same breath, Pluto in Gemini called for a deep stance. This Pluto, in the 10th House, troubled by the lightness of Gemini, revealed itself as a busy bee, seeking the nectar of truth. In his theme, Pluto supported and intensified the Moon in Scorpio, a placement rich in implication.

The Moon in Scorpio: This Moon, despite all its strength, reminds us of a fundamental reluctance. In him, a modesty, carefully woven, invisibly linked to the 2nd House, to his assets and his relationship to money. My father, this modest man, did not yield to the clothing norms of the 50s-60s; he draped himself in a shirt even in hot weather. His generosity did not eclipse the need to maintain a "personal reserve," a contrast to my mother, open and selfless.

This duality also manifested in his relationship with his own achievements. This Moon in Scorpio, though honorable, struggled to recognize the exceptional value of his own work. A flow of uncertainties inhabited him. And how could one not see the conflict within him: a fiery Sun in Aries alternating with an introverted Moon in Scorpio? Orphaned at the age of thirteen, his journey was a complex labyrinth, shaping the character of an extraordinary man.

Thus, through the lens of the stars and memory, we slide between influences and human creations. My father truly embodied the harmony between the individual and the collective, as he resembles a form of archetype: the one who ignites the first spark — not for himself alone, but to create a precious connection in these times of tension and questioning. May this sun of April illuminate our reflections, awakening our souls to the creativity of Aries in the service of the community.
